Job Description Refrigeration Service Technician:

Duties:

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and fix all types of refrigeration equipment including roof top, spilt-system, air and water cooling systems.
Troubleshoot electrical equipment including the 3 phase, AC/DC, and PLC.
Serve as support to Engineering and Production departments as well as our customers.


Skills/Qualifications:

Position requires an EPA Certification. Position requires 5 years of experience in Industrial/Commercial service. Knowledge about the chilling system from .5 through 200 Tons is required. Knowledge in water processing systems (Pump tanks and tower) is a plus. Knowledge of electrical schematics and piping/system drawings. Experience in Compressor replaces. This position requires 75% travel to various locations including Wabash, IN; Schaumburg, IL; and Flint, MI and breaks down into 50% local travel (within 150 miles) as well as 45% within U.S. and 5% International. The candidate needs to have basic hand tools for service work. (Our company will supply major tools and a truck). Clean driving record is a must. Excellent computer knowledge and skills. Injection molding or printing experience is a plus.
