Job Description IMMEDIATE OPENING - HOT INDUSTRY

Will work with the Project Development and Management teams to provide expertise pertaining to wind resource assessment throughout all phases of a project development process.

Responsibilities for this role include but not limited to:

Experience of bringing at least two large projects from planning to completion in Ontario.

Specific experience with Ontario Environmental Screening requirements, including developing & commissioning relevant supporting documentation, & current understanding of the changes coming with the Green Energy Act.

Experience with the technical issues of wind turbine siting: lease negotiations, setbacks, landowner(agent) management.

Knowledge of the provincial and federal ministries involved in permitting and approvals.


Requirements:


At least two years\' experience managing wind energy projects.

BS/MS Degree in Environmental Science/Engineering.

Supplier negotiation experience.

Project/Team Management.
